Acceptance of Terms
When you access this site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms described below. If you do not agree to the terms discussed here, you should exit the site and refrain from placing your order.
Indemnity
Kiwi Costumes Limited does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from the purchase of our products, and you fully agree to indemnify Kiwi Costumes Limited from any such action as a condition of your purchase.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Kiwi Costumes are not intended as every day street wear or sleep wear. Adult supervision is advised at all times Kiwi Costumes are being worn. The plastic bags in which some costumes are sent in are a choking hazard. It is the adult’s responsibility to make sure these are not left lying around for children to play with and are discarded safely.
Orders
A contract between the purchaser and Kiwi Costumes Limited, is created by the following steps:
- Order is placed on our website.
- An automated email will be sent to your designated email address notifying that Kiwi Costumes Limited has received your order.
- Once payment has been fully processed, acceptance/dispatch of your order will occur.
- Acceptance of your order may not take place if:
* Product ordered is out of stock
* Payment failure e.g. Credit card declined
- If any problems occur with your order, Kiwi Costumes Limited will contact you.
The "on-selling" of goods purchased from Kiwi Costumes Limited is not permitted. Only Kiwi Costumes Limited retailers have our authority to do so. We reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.

International Orders
We accept international orders placed via our website to a number of countries. Should you wish to place an international order, but your country is not one of our international options, please contact us directly at info@kiwicostumes.co.nz
Availability
All orders for products are subject to availability. It is possible that an item you purchased on this site is not in stock. We are truly sorry if any items you wish to purchase are not in stock. If you are charged for any out of stock items, we will contact you immeditatly and advise you when the product will be available, and arrange a refund if necessary.
Product Description
Each item sold is done so according to the product description that appears on the website. We have endeavoured to ensure that all descriptions and prices are correct. However, due to unforeseen circumstances there may be a variance at the time of placing your order.
Colour reproduction
We attempt to reproduce our colours as true to life as possible, but due to the nature of the printing and screen display process, sometimes garment and accessory colours may vary slightly from their images.
Payment
- All prices listed on our website are in New Zealand dollars (NZD).
- All prices are correct at time of website publication.
- All our product prices as shown include GST of 15% (Goods and Services Tax). However, items we dispatch to locations outside of New Zealand are zero-rated for GST, meaning GST is not chargeable. Therefore, on all international deliveries, the website will deduct 15% off product prices when proceeding through check out. Please note the overseas freight costs as calculated by the website are not inclusive of GST.

- All credit card payments are subject to online authorisation.
- If credit card authorisation is declined, Kiwi Costumes Limited can not be held responsible for any delay in delivery.
Other methods of payment (available only within New Zealand):
- Direct internet banking into Kiwi Costumes Limited account - please email info@kiwicostumes.co.nz for account information
- Cheque - an order will not be processed until the cheque/funds have been cleared. This may take approx. 5-7 working days.

Gift Vouchers
Kiwi Costumes Gift Vouchers are issued by Kiwi Costumes Limited. A defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen voucher will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. A Kiwi Costumes Gift voucher is redeemable for merchandise at www.kiwicostumes.co.nz; not redeemable for cash and is not a negotiable instrument; valid until the expiry date shown on the voucher (being one year from date of issue); not able to be reloaded or partially redeemed. Credit will not be given for any unused amount. Any unused amount after the expiry date of the voucher will not be refunded or credited.
Story Book Sets
Story Book Sets are made to order. Customers enquiring about Story Book Sets should contact us on info@kiwicostumes.co.nz where we can discuss individual requirements and time estimations. Kiwi Costumes Limited reserves the right to accept or decline any requests for Story Book Sets. On acceptance of a Story Book Set order, Kiwi Costumes Limited may require a deposit of 50% with the balance payable on completion of the order.
